President Bongbong Marcos Jr. finally responded to the statement of Vice President Sarah Duterte saying they weren't friends.
“I don't know anymore. I’m not quite sure I understand,” Marcos Jr. said. “I’m a little dismayed to hear that she does not think we are friends. I always thought that we were but maybe I was deceived.”
VP Sarah also pointed out that they weren't friends, to begin with and that teaming up with PBBM before was all part of her job as his running mate.
“Hindi kami magkaibigan unang-una. Nagkakilala lang kami dahil mag-running mate kami. So, bago pa man kami naging running mate, hindi na kami nag-uusap. Nagkausap lang kami during campaign at saka sa trabaho noon,” VP Sarah said.
