The First Lady took to social media to share photos from the lovely visit. She also expressed appreciation for the two for dropping by and for giving a boxful of "pasalubong."
On Wednesday, President Bongbong Marcos was asked about his wife's much-talked-about meeting with the two members of the Aquino clan.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, he said the reason why Josh and Bimby visited the FL was to personally thank her for her "help in their travel arrangements."

"The reason na pinuntahan nila si First Lady ay simple lamang. I think it was Kris Aquino who needed some assistance for something."
"It was just to help them for their travel arrangements. Tumulong si First Lady at yun lang. Sabi lang magpapasalamat sila," he said.
The President likewise shared his honest thoughts about the visit.
"I think it's a very fine gesture on the part of the Aquino family. I think it sort of put a little more personal, a human interaction between our families," he expressed.
According to Inquirer.net's report, Marcos said that his family and the Aquinos have always been okay outside of politics.
"Well, we've always been okay. We just don't agree politically."
He also mentioned how the First Lady is related to the Aquinos.
"But what the reports did not say is that Liza is their aunt. Dahil ang kanyang auntie ay napangasawa si Don Pepe, the eldest brother of Cory. So, they are related," Marcos explained.
"Kaya’t hindi naman nakakapagtaka, kilalang kilala niya — kilalang kilala niya ‘yong mga pamangkin niya very well. So, that… And so, they came at nagbiyahe sila. Bumalik may dalang pasalubong," he noted.
Bimby Aquino is the son of Kris Aquino with James Yap. Kris is a Pinay actress, TV host, producer, endorser, and businesswoman. She was born on February 14, 1971, to former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" S. Aquino, Jr., and former President Corazon “Cory” C. Aquino.
