Sen. Risa sa fingerprints nina Alice Guo, Guo Hua Ping: “This confirms what I have suspected”

- Suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo and Guo Hua Ping have the same fingerprints

- Sen. Risa Hontiveros said in a statement that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has confirmed that Guo’s fingerprints have matched with the said Chinese passport holder

- As per Hontiveros, the findings confirm that Alice Guo is a “Pekeng Pilipino” like what she had suspected all along

- The senator likewise described Guo as a “Chinese national masquerading as Filipino citizen to facilitate crimes being committed by POGO”

Embattled Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo and Chinese woman Guo Hua Ping have the same fingerprints, according to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

In a statement on Thursday, Sen. Risa Hontiveros said the NBI has found that the fingerprints of the suspended Bamban mayor and the Chinese passport holder have matched.

“Indeed, the NBI has confirmed that the fingerprints of Mayor Alice Guo and Guo Hua Ping match. Ibig sabihin, they are the fingerprints of one and the same person,” said the senator.

Hontiveros stressed the NBI findings confirm that Alice Guo is a “Pekeng Pilipino” masquerading as a Filipino to facilitate crimes being committed by Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).

“This confirms what I have suspected all along. Pekeng Pilipino si “Mayor Alice” — or should I say, Guo Hua Ping. She is a Chinese national masquerading as Filipino citizen to facilitate crimes being committed by POGO.”

Hontiveros also forthrightly underscored, “Napakalaking insulto ito sa mga botante ng Bamban, sa mga institusyon ng ating gubyerno, at sa bawat mamamayang Pilipino.”

“Ito na ang pinakamabigat na ebidensya para palayasin na sa pwesto si ‘Mayor Alice.’”

Alice Leal Guo is the Mayor of the Municipality of Bamban, Tarlac. She won as mayor during the national elections in 2022. She became known nationwide after her name was dragged into the ongoing Senate investigations regarding Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations or (POGO) and the alleged proliferation of illegal immigrants.

As previously reported by KAMI, Mayor Alice Guo has been removed as a member of the National People's Coalition (NPC). This was amid the charges that were filed against her recently. The suspended mayor was allegedly involved with the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO). The letter was released by NPC chairman Vicente "Tito" Sotto III.

Meanwhile, Mayor Alice Guo has been charged with qualified human trafficking. The Philippine National Police, together with the body for combating organized crime filed the non-bailable charge against the suspended mayor. Both the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) filed the complaint to the Department of Justice (DOJ).
