Andrea Brillantes and Ricci Rivero made headlines last week after the latter confirmed that they have broken up.

Netizens then speculated that Los Baños Councilor Leren Mae Bautista caused the breakup after she posted photos of her outreach program in Laguna with Ricci. She also greeted the basketball star on Instagram on his birthday last month with a clip of them celebrating the occasion. The clip was deleted later on.

However, Leren Mae finally shut down the rumors, with her camp saying that there is nothing romantic between her and Ricci.

Her camp explained that the outreach program was set up to help the community. She also clarified that the birthday video of her with Ricci and other invited individuals were deleted to avoid malicious speculation.

Leren’s camp then advised the public to do fact-checking and to avoid making false accusations.

Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who started out her career as a child star and rose to fame. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of 'Marga' in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.”
