Titser na tinawag si Cong. Guanzon na 'buangzon,' nag-sorry pagkatapos: "Idol poh kita mam"

- A netizen, later allegedly identified as a teacher, who made a derogatory statement on Cong. Rowena Guanzon, issued an apology

- He commented on one of the posts of the congresswoman where the latter was harvesting fish at her farm

- The teacher said, "Itulak niyo yang Buangzon na yan"

- Thereafter, he apologized and said that it was his "pamangkin" who was using his mobile phone, saying that the solon is his idol

A netizen, who was allegedly a teacher, called Cong. Rowena Guanzon as "Buangzon."

He made a derogatory statement on one of the posts of the solon on FB.

"Itulak niyo yang BUANGZON na yan," he said.

Thereafter, he issued an apology to the congresswoman, which the solon also accepted.

In his apology, he said sorry for the things that he said.

He also stated that the congresswoman was his idol and that he admires her bravery.

The teacher then hoped that Guanzon would be able to forgive him.

"Good afternoon sa lahat I have to apologize to Atty. Rowena Guanzon sa nasabi ko Mam, sorry po d ko po intention na magsabi ng ganyan mam kasi unang una idol poh kita mam... I admire your bravery mam Rowena Guanzon. Sana po patawarin mo ako sa nasabi ko Mam... hope mapatawad mo po ako Mam Rowena Guanzon. god bless poh Mam!!!"

Guanzon accepted the apology.

"Madali naman tayo kausap kaya apology accepted! You are teacher in Immaculate Heart of Mary, so always act with kindness."

On Twitter, the congresswoman would also respond to rude and malicious comments.

Maria Rowena Amelia Villena Guanzon, is a Filipina lawyer. She is a public servant and politician. She served COMELEC from 2015 to 2022.

Cong. Rowena Guanzon has retweeted an old video that was taken in 1994. It showed the events that transpired after the 1994 Metro Manila Film Festival. In the video, one could see the younger selves of Ruffa Gutierrez and her mother, Annabelle Rama. At one point in the video, the It's Showtime Sexybabe judge and actress, stood up and started crying loudly.

Cong. Rowena Guanzon took to Twitter and once more gave a message to Ruffa. She posted a short but direct message saying, "To Ruffa, take it take it." In a succeeding post, she once more explained the situation of the two kasambahays who were allegedly thrown out of a first-class subdivision. She said that it was her obligation to help the kasambahays when they sought her for help.
