When asked about the pressure of being the vice governor’s wife, Sunshine said that she is not allowing herself to be pressured to change her personality.
According to Sunshine, even her husband Alex does not want her to change how she presents herself.
“Kung sa personality wala naman. Ayaw ko ma pressure na kailangan less na pagging makulit ko or kailangan finess eme eme kana.
“Ayaw din naman ng asawa ko yun. Basta lagi nya sinasabi sa akin ‘Mama, kung ano ka lang mas ok. Hindi kailangan magbago ng ugali’,” she shared.
However, the former Sexbomb dancer revealed that she has some worries that her husband will be wrongly judged by people who like to focus on politicians’ shortcomings.
“Hindi siguro pressure ang tamang term. Siguro mas nag worry ako sa asawa ko na gawin nya na lahat ng nakikita nya na makakabuti sa Bulacan pero hindi magiging enough sa ibang tao. Or meron syang hindi matulungan majudge na sya kaagad,” Sunshine told KAMI.
Lyn Garcia-Castro, popularly known as Sunshine Garcia is a Filipina dancer and actress. She is a former member of the dance group, SexBomb Girls from 2002 to 2013. She also appeared in several television series such as Encantandia, Magic Kamison, and Daisy Siete. She married actor Alex Castro, who is now the vice governor in Bulacan, on March 2, 2019.
In July 2021, the couple announced that they are expecting their second child. They both shared their picture which showed the celebrity mom's growing baby bump. The actress and dancer expressed how excited she is to welcome her new baby while Alex revealed that they still don't know what the gender of the baby is. Celebrities and netizens congratulated the couple on their newest addition to their growing family. She gave birth to the baby last November.
KAMI previously reported that Sunshine Garcia also revealed her struggles with mastitis. The celebrity mom opened up about it during her guesting in an online show. The actress likewise narrated how the said infection affected her duties as a mom.
