Hitting back at those who say that her decision was on that level, retired Comm. Guanzon said that Imee was her classmate.
She then pointed out that if one would look at history, one would see that she knows the Marcoses for a long time and said that she and Leni were not even close.
However, according to retired Comm. Guanzon, she would be voting for VP Leni because for her, it is the right thing to do.

"Classmate ko si Imee (actually seatmate ko pa) it was taken during the proclamation of senator-elect last 2019.
See? mas matagal ko ng kakilala mga marcos and hindi rin kami close ni Leni but I will vote for her because it is the right thing to do.
Kaya huwag niyo sabihin na personal ang pag DQ ko kay BBM! Ang batas at katotohanan ang dapat palaging manaig!"

Former Commissioner Rowena Guanzon took to Twitter and expressed her sentiment over the new prohibition of the Cebu police concerning rallies. As per her tweet, the Cebu police will be prohibiting those below four feet to enter the rally grounds in Cebu. She said that such move was discriminatory in nature. At the end of her tweet, she asked who was in control of Cebu, the Mayor or the police.
She fell victim to fake food orders on her last day of office at the constitutional entity. More than five thousand pesos worth of food was delivered to her office today by six to seven riders who said they received the order with her name on it. The office of the now-retired commissioner denied the booking. Guanzon’s name was recently embroiled in controversy after she released her decision in the disqualification case against former Sen. Bongbong Marcos or BBM, ahead of the ponente, Commissioner Aimee Ferolino.
