- Sen. Manny Pacquiao on Friday, revealed a number of names that were in his senatorial slate

- On ANC Headstart, he mentioned to Karen Davila the names of Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri, Sen. Joel Villanueva, Gov. Chiz Escudero, and Rep. Loren Legarda

- He added that former Vice President Jejomar Binay and Raffy Tulfo were likewise under his slate

- It can be recalled though that four names were likewise named by presidential aspirant Sen. Panfilo Lacson to be under his slate namely, Legarda, Zubiri, Escudero and Villanueva

Sen. Manny Pacquiao has revealed the names under his senatorial slate. He made the revelation during an ANC interview.

According to Pacquiao, Sorsogon Governor Francis "Chiz" Escudero, along with Senators Juan Miguel Zubiri and Joel Villanueva were part of his senate slate.

He also said that Antique Representative Loren Legarda is also part of his senate slate.

Aside from the four, the world boxing champ also mentioned Raffy Tulfo, the famous broadcaster, and Jejomar Binay, former vice president of the Philippines.

However, one could recall that on Thursday, the names of Legarda, Villanueva, Escudero and Zubiri were also included under Lacson's slate, as per ABS-CBN.

The senate slates of the presidentiables have not been revealed early and were only revealed recently.

There was an element of surprise, and while some candidates have already signified from the very start, whose slate they would be running for, others were revealed only recently, which came as a surprise.

Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world boxing champion, considered one of the greatest boxers in history. He also found success as a politician, first becoming a congressman before getting elected as a senator. Manny is married to Jinkee Pacquiao, whom he called his best friend.
