In less than five minutes, the suspects fled with cash, mobile phones, and jewelry from patrons and staff. Authorities estimate the total value of stolen items at around ₱200,000.
"Malaking tulong dahil sa restaurant, walang CCTV," Vallejo added.
Police confirmed that two of the six suspects have prior records and standing warrants for robbery and cases related to illegal dr*ugs. The suspects, residents of Taguig, reportedly came to Mandaluyong to commit the crime. Authorities have launched a dragnet operation to apprehend the remaining individuals.

In a previous KAMI report, a 20-year-old man accused of stealing a cellphone was arrested after police found him hiding beneath a bridge in Barangay NBBS Dagat-dagatan, Navotas. A commuter reportedly saw the suspect take a vendor’s phone from a convenience store and alerted authorities. Officers and community watchmen used an improvised boat to reach the man, attracting onlookers and briefly slowing traffic. The stolen phone, valued at ₱10,000, was recovered. Police said the suspect had recently been released from jail for a gam*bling-related offense. During questioning, he admitted the theft, citing hunger and vices. He is now detained and facing a formal theft complaint.
Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy was arrested in Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal on February 13 for alleged attempted robbery and killing of a 20-year-old man. Police conducting surveillance apprehended the suspect after seeing him retrieve an item from his pocket and seized a .45-caliber pistol with three live bullets and a magazine. Authorities later linked the teenager to an earlier attack on a victim known as alias Kirby along a village road. The minor underwent medical examination and was turned over to social welfare officials. Police are preparing charges while continuing to gather evidence and strengthen operations to prevent crime locally.
