Baka nakakalimutan mo may baby kami, kadugo mo.. ano ba yan!!!!” She even mentioned using high-tech glasses to translate the text, concluding, “Ibig sabihin: Valid hanggang December 26, 2025 Lampas na tayo sa date na ’yan, kaya expired na siya ngayon.”

However, the situation took a sharp turn when Jeremy Favia identified the sender as his and his brother Walby’s mother—Kitkat's mother-in-law. On Wednesday, February 4, Jeremy fired back with a blunt Facebook post, correcting the comedienne's interpretation of the Chinese labeling. He explained that in many Chinese food products, the date printed on the packaging is the manufacturing date, not the expiration date.

“Pangalanan mo kasi SORAYA BAÑAS a.k.a. 'Kitkat',” Jeremy wrote. “Nanay namin yan ni kuya Walby. Na lola ng anak mo. Sana nag fact check ka muna para makita mo na manufacturing date yan. LAHAT kami na nasa trip same ng binili cause that was offered by our tour guide.”

Jeremy didn't stop there, expressing deep hurt over how his mother was portrayed. “Hindi gagawa ang mama ng ikapapahamak ng apo niya. She even prioritized buying pasalubong than buying things for herself. Next time you jump into MINDLESS conclusions and wash your dirty laundry in public make sure to FACT CHECK and have a sound judgement. This is not the first time na pinahiya mo si mama.
