While an official autopsy is pending to confirm the exact cause of death and whether s3xual assault occurred, investigators are meticulously processing the site.

Among the physical evidence recovered was a lip tint belonging to the victim, which was found near her remains.

The Polomolok Municipal Police Station has already identified and detained two "persons of interest" (POIs) in connection with the crime.

The first suspect was reportedly seen with the victim as recently as Wednesday. Witnesses noted that the man was wearing a specific jersey during their encounter—a garment that matches a piece of clothing recovered by forensics at the crime scene.

A second person of interest is also under tight guard. Authorities noted that this individual possesses several unexplained scratches and wounds on his body, which investigators believe could be defensive marks sustained during a struggle with the victim.

As the investigation deepens, the local government and police are calling for witnesses to come forward.
