The attacker was named as her former husband, prosecutor Muhammet Cagatay Kilicaslan.

Reports said the suspect attempted to shoot the judge again but was stopped by a man serving tea in the courtroom.

In a previous report by KAMI, the Bureau of Customs was said to be taking a deeper look into the importation of roughly 40 luxury vehicles allegedly connected to the family of Sarah Discaya. The review reportedly began after an interview featuring the family’s collection of high-end cars went viral on social media. Authorities indicated that they are examining import papers, shipping details, and the identities of listed consignees to assess whether any customs rules were violated. Public attention on the matter has grown as Discaya has also been linked to contractors involved in flood control projects now under scrutiny by the Senate. In a separate development, the passing of former Department of Public Works and Highways Undersecretary Catalina Cabral was also confirmed, adding to a series of significant national issues.

Meanwhile, veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez-Roxas became a trending topic after sharing a photo from her recent trip to Disneyland. Her caption, which began with “My P10 Million Palace,” prompted mixed reactions online. Some interpreted it as a playful nod to earlier statements made by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, while others viewed it as a simple joke. The post drew varied responses, with supporters praising her sense of humor and critics offering differing perspectives on the remark.
