Based on the complaint filed by the victim, she became suspicious during the massage session when she noticed that the therapist seemed to be using only one hand.

Her concern reportedly grew after she heard incoming calls coming from a handheld radio inside the massage room, prompting her to pay closer attention to her surroundings.

Police said the situation escalated when the owner of the spa entered the room moments later.

“The complainant said that when the radio calls stopped and the owner of the spa entered the room and allegedly confronted the therapist, scolding her for live streaming the massage session using her own Facebook account and cellphone,” said Piñon.

It was only then that the victim fully understood what had happened.

"It was at that point the complainant realized that parts of her body had been shown in a Facebook live video without her knowledge or consent,” he added.

Shaken by the incident, the victim immediately sought help from barangay officials.

Barangay tanods responded promptly and arrested the suspect before turning her over to the police station for documentation and further investigation.

Authorities said the massage therapist may face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9995, also known as the Anti-Photo and Video Vo*yeurism Act of 2009.

The law penalizes the unauthorized recording, sharing, and distribution of private images or videos without the subject’s consent.

In an earlier KAMI article, the Bureau of Customs was reported to be conducting a more thorough review of the importation of around 40 luxury vehicles allegedly linked to the family of Sarah Discaya. The scrutiny followed a viral interview that highlighted the family’s collection of high-end cars. Authorities said the BOC is checking import documents, shipping records, and declared consignees to determine whether any customs rules were violated. The issue has drawn wider attention as Discaya has also been linked to contractors involved in flood control projects now under Senate review. Around the same period, the reported death of former Department of Public Works and Highways undersecretary Catalina Cabral added to the series of developments being closely monitored by the public.

Meanwhile, veteran broadcaster Korina Sanchez-Roxas stirred online discussion after posting a photo from her recent visit to Disneyland. She was seen posing in front of a palace-like attraction, which quickly caught the attention of netizens. Her caption opening with “My P10 Million Palace” drew mixed reactions, with some viewing it as a playful nod to past allegations made by Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, while others saw it as a lighthearted remark.
