What was supposed to be one of the happiest days of his life turned into uncertainty and heartbreak for IT engineer Mark Arjay Reyes. Mark was set to marry his longtime partner, Sherra De Juan, on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Instead of wedding vows and celebrations, the day passed with unanswered questions, as Sherra was nowhere to be found.

Mark and Sherra had been engaged since 2023 and were eagerly preparing not only for their wedding but also for their future together. The couple was also looking forward to celebrating their 10th anniversary in January, making the wedding even more meaningful. They had been living together for five years and had already planned to build their own family after tying the knot.

According to a report aired on TV Patrol, Sherra sent Mark a message on December 10 saying she was heading out to buy her wedding shoes at a mall in North Fairview, Quezon City. She mentioned that she would leave her phone at home because it was charging. That message would be the last time Mark heard from her.

As the hours passed and Sherra did not return home, worry began to set in. Later, CCTV footage helped piece together her last known movements. At around 1:25 p.m., she was seen walking through a small alley near their home. Just minutes later, she was captured crossing the street, and by 1:37 p.m., she appeared on camera at a nearby gasoline station.

What raised even more concern was that Sherra was never seen on any CCTV footage inside the mall where she was supposedly headed. From that point on, there were no further sightings, leaving her family and fiancé with no clear answers about where she went next or what might have happened.

In an emotional appeal, Mark asked Sherra to return home, emphasizing that many people are waiting for her. He shared that there were no known conflicts between them and that he was unaware of any problems she might have had with others. For him, the sudden disappearance was completely unexpected.

Sherra’s brother, Darie de Juan, also expressed hope that his sister is safe. He shared that the family is holding on to faith and remains hopeful that they will find her soon. Both families have been working together as they try to trace Sherra’s whereabouts.
