Police opened the tinted car and saw the man's body in the driver’s seat.
The owner later told investigators that the car was no longer in use and was often left parked in the same spot.
He explained that the vehicle’s battery was being used as a power source at home, and this was why he rarely checked the car. Police Major Rahzl Jim Jocson said the owner was even hesitant to go near it at first.
Investigators said the owner did not recognize the man.
The car also had no lock, making it easy for anyone to enter.
Police suspect the man may have tried to take the vehicle.
Jocson said officers noticed signs of a struggle on the window, raising the possibility that the man got trapped inside and could not find a way out.
Police continue to investigate the case and will check nearby CCTV cameras to track any movement around the car before the body was found.

Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
