An amateur video showed the suspect lying on the floor, weakened and covered in blood, still inside the house he had forcibly entered.

Police said CCTV footage revealed how the man slipped into the property by going through the back area and entering through a window.

“Talagang wala po siyang cover sa mukha at binubuksan 'yung mga gate, 'yung mga pinto,” says Police Lt. Col. Perlito Tuayon.

“Pero alam niya na may mga CCTV na nakikita siya," he added.

Investigators shared that the intruder gathered several valuables once inside.

He allegedly took a laptop, mobile phones, and cash before heading toward a room where the victim, referred to as “Isabela,” was sleeping with her child.

“Noong nagkatinginan po kami, dinakma niya po ako,” she says.

“Tinakpan po niya yung bibig ko po," she adds that the experience left her deeply shaken.

“Sa totoo lang, trauma kami doon po sa nangyari.”

Her child managed to run for help, prompting neighbors to respond swiftly. Their intervention led to the immediate capture of the suspect and the recovery of the stolen items.
