The former Philippine National Police chief, who has been absent from the last two Senate session days, posted two updates on his personal Facebook page.
One featured him holding an image of the Santo Niño, with the caption: “My patron saint, my kabirthday always in January. Viva Pit Senior Santo Niño!”
The other post showed Dela Rosa with Father Cianno Ubod of the Compostela Parish Church in Cebu, acknowledging the guidance he receives from his spiritual advise.

“Times like these, we need to seek some guidance from our spiritual adviser. Thank you Father Ciano,” he wrote.
It remains unclear whether Dela Rosa is still in Cebu, where he had been assisting typhoon-affected residents a week ago.
He has not directly addressed the ICC matter publicly.
Dela Rosa is reportedly facing charges of crimes against humanity, linked to his role in the Duterte administration’s anti-drug campaign.
As PNP chief, he issued Command Memorandum Circular No. 16-2016, which served as the basis for the government’s controversial drug war.
His legal counsel, Atty. Israelito Torreon, confirmed they are aware of the circulating reports but clarified they have no independent confirmation about the warrant’s existence.
Through his posts, Dela Rosa emphasized finding strength and guidance in faith during uncertain times, highlighting his continued devotion to spiritual reflection amid the ongoing controversy.
