According to a report by Bernadette Reyes on "24 Oras Weekend," Emmanuel Estrera and his wife Coney were moving their belongings to safety when floodwaters rapidly engulfed their home last Tuesday.
Coney reportedly went back to the kitchen to check on the meal she was cooking when the water suddenly rose.

Emmanuel rushed to bring their two children to the roof, but Coney was left behind.
A neighbor’s video, which has since gone viral, captured Emmanuel’s frantic efforts to save his wife from their rooftop as she cried for help from beneath the roof.
Despite a neighbor’s attempt to perform CPR, Coney showed no pulse.
“Hindi ako pumayag na wala na. Kasi may milagro naman eh,” Emmanuel said tearfully, refusing to give up hope even as he brought his wife to several hospitals that could no longer admit her.
Coney was later found at a funeral home, leaving Emmanuel and their two children temporarily staying with relatives as they grieve their loss.
