Investigators say revenge was the motive.
In a report by GMA 7's 'Unang Balita,' the suspect accused the victim of casting a spell that caused the death of his twin grandchild while still in the mother’s womb.
He also claimed the victim had threatened their family.
A confession followed after arrest, in which the man said he meant only to shoot the victim’s foot but lost balance and fired a fatal shot.
Authorities have charged him with murder, violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, and breaching the Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act.
