The Philippine National Police (PNP) expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation during the peaceful observance of Undas across the country.
Acting PNP Chief Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said police officers were fully prepared, in line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to keep everyone safe throughout the long weekend.
He also thanked partner agencies and the Filipino people for helping ensure an orderly and secure holiday.
According to the PNP, about 1,345,116 people visited both public and private cemeteries nationwide. No arrests, violations, or disturbances were reported.

As of noon on Sunday, November 2, police recorded 12,975 passengers in airports, 5,945 in seaports, and 5,212 in bus terminals.
No stranded travelers or canceled trips were reported. Major transport hubs like NAIA, Clark, Cebu, Davao, Manila North Harbor, PITX, Araneta-Cubao, Matnog Port, and Davao Sasa Wharf all operated smoothly with coordination from agencies such as CAAP, PPA, MARINA, and DOTr.
From October 29 to November 2, police recorded only seven minor, isolated incidents nationwide, including a drowning in Central Luzon, illegal gambl!ng and threats in CALABARZON, one case of physical injury in Bicol, and separate theft and drug cases in Metro Manila.
Nartatez said the PNP would continue its presence as travelers return home, ensuring safety and order.
He added that this success reflects the kind of disciplined and proactive policing expected under Bagong Pilipinas.
PNP Spokesperson Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño also thanked the public for their discipline and cooperation, calling the peaceful Undas a shared victory between citizens, local governments, and law enforcers.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
