In an interview with Bombo Radyo Bacolod, Police Captain Hazel Oropel, commander of Police Station 5, shared that during the probe into Dignadice’s disappearance, they learned of her connection to Gonsaludo.

The victim, a 43-year-old single mother from Victorias City, had gone missing before suspicions turned toward the police officer. However, when initially questioned, he denied any involvement.
