After verification, they confirmed she had existing warrants of arrest.

When the suspect arrived at the station, another estafa warrant from Quezon City was served to her.

Other victims also appeared, including a 46-year-old businesswoman who lost over P12 million worth of jewelry and luxury watches.

The businesswoman said the suspect issued checks worth P3 million and P9 million as payment for the jewelry, but all of them bounced.

She said they later found out from the bank that the woman was a scammer.

Another businessman lost more than P17 million in jewelry and meat products. The suspect initially paid but later on, her checks bounced.

Police said her scheme was to entice victims by promising payment through post-dated checks, which turned out to have no funds or were from closed accounts.

The woman is now detained at the Talipapa Police Station and said she will not answer questions or give interviews, choosing to speak only in court.
