Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo continues to shine on the world stage after qualifying for two event finals at the 53rd Artistic Gymnastics World Championships held at the Indonesia Arena Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex in Jakarta.

The 25-year-old Olympian advanced to the floor exercise and vault finals, the same events where he captured two gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Yulo displayed his signature precision and control on the floor, scoring 14.566 points—composed of 8.666 for execution and 5.900 for difficulty—earning him the second-highest mark in the qualification round.
Although Yulo will be skipping the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in December, the Filipino star has shown no signs of slowing down as he continues to pursue excellence in the international gymnastics circuit.
