According to James Agustin’s report on "GTV News Balitanghali" Wednesday, CCTV footage captured the suspect posing as a customer wanting to exchange euros and dollars.
While the employee was preparing the cash, the suspect briefly stepped outside, claiming he needed to call his wife. Upon returning, he pulled out what appeared to be a handgun and pointed it at the cashier.

The suspect fled the scene in a car but was later traced by Quezon City Police District operatives through intensive tracking.
“Pagdating ng two days, natunton natin itong sasakyan na ginamit ng suspek dito sa loob ng isang compound ng condominium,” said Capellan.
When arrested in a Pasig condominium, police recovered ₱400,000 of the stolen cash and the toy gun used in the holdup.
Currently detained at the Kamuning Police Station, the suspect refused to comment on the case, merely saying, “Not really at this moment. Yeah, no comment.”
He now faces charges of robbery and violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
