According to a report by GMA News’ 24 Oras, several men can be seen in a video trying to stop the fast-moving ride while others rushed to help the victims who were hurled off their seats.
Witnesses said the ride was running at full speed when the accident occurred, causing panic among onlookers.
Investigations by the San Jose local government revealed that the victims were thrown off after the safety steel handrail attached to their car suddenly came loose.
