An old post from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Regional Office III resurfaced on social media.
It contained photos of former senator Bong Revilla with former district engineer Henry Alcantara and former assistant district engineer Brice Hernandez.
They were inspecting flood control projects in Paombong and Hagonoy, Bulacan in 2023.
The post gained attention again after Alcantara’s claims during the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing.

He alleged that Revilla received kickbacks from certain projects. The accusations immediately sparked talks online, especially after the photos were linked to his statements.
Revilla has not yet released a statement about the matter.
The issue continues to stir discussions as people wait for his side and further updates from the investigation.
It can be recalled that Dismissed DPWH district engineer Henry Alcantara testified before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee on September 23, accusing several officials of involvement in anomalous flood control projects in Bulacan.
He linked retired DPWH undersecretary Roberto Bernardo, Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Joel Villanueva, Ako Bicol Rep. Zaldy Co, and former senator Bong Revilla to questionable deals.
Alcantara claimed Bernardo released millions, with 25% allegedly going to Estrada and Villanueva, while Revilla supposedly benefited from a P300 million budget insertion for 2025.
He also alleged direct transactions with Co and said they used Viber’s disappearing messages. Alcantara sought protection for his family.

Bong Revilla, or Ramon Bong Revilla Jr., is a Filipino actor turned politician who rose to fame through action films before serving as Cavite governor and later as senator. He became known for pushing social welfare and development laws but faced controversy after being linked to the pork barrel scam, for which he was detained before being acquitted in 2018. Despite criticisms, he made a political comeback and was re-elected to the Senate in 2019, maintaining his presence in both showbiz and politics.

The move came after a viral interview where Discaya showed their collection of high-end cars. BOC will check the consignee of the vehicles to see if there were violations in their importation Discaya has also been connected to contractors of flood control projects now under Senate investigation.
Additionally, Korina Sanchez-Roxas recently posted on her Instagram account. There, she posed in front of a beautiful palace while she was in Disneyland. However, she also made fun of it in relation to the recent issue involving her. She wrote in the first part of her post, "My P10 Million Palace," which was somehow related to the allegations thrown against her by Mayor Vico Sotto.
