Two siblings sustained injuries after being attacked by a group of men in Las Piñas City, one of whom was identified as a minor who allegedly punched them “for fun.”

According to Nico Waje’s report on 24 Oras Weekend last Saturday, CCTV footage captured the incident in Barangay Almanza Uno around dawn last Wednesday.
The siblings were simply on their way to a fast food restaurant to have coffee when the assault happened.
The video showed the two walking along the street when they stopped briefly at the roadside. Suddenly, a man approached and punched them without warning.

The siblings tried to defend themselves, but more men appeared and joined the attack.
One of the brothers attempted to cross the street to escape, but he was pursued and continuously beaten.
A passing motorcycle rider intervened to stop the assault.
Meanwhile, the other brother was cornered and ganged up on by three men. He tried to break free from the group but stumbled to the ground. At that point, another man dressed in white approached and kicked him.
The beating only ended when several bystanders stepped in to break up the violence.
Authorities confirmed that one of the suspects was a minor who admitted to randomly throwing punches. Investigation into the incident is ongoing as police work to identify and track down the other men involved in the attack.
“Base roon sa kuwento ng witness, na gusto raw niyang (menor de edad) manuntok. Tamang tama naman itong dalawang biktima natin habang naglalakad sa kahabaan ng Alabang-Zapote, nakita niya, sinuntok niya. Noong lalabanan na siya ng dalawang biktima, humingi naman ng tulong sa mga suspek na tatlo, na legal age, at doon pinagtulungan ‘yung dalawang biktima,” said Police Major Bobbe Imbo, Chief, Station Investigation and Detective Management Section of Las Piñas Police.
