It can be recalled that the Bureau of Customs (BOC) seized and sealed 12 luxury cars of the Discaya family after a daylong operation.
At first, only two vehicles were found in their Pasig compound: a Toyota LC300 2024 and a Maserati Levante 2022.
By evening, seven more luxury cars were surrendered to the BOC.
These included a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes-Benz G-500, Mercedes AMG G 63, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Sequoia, and Cadillac Escalade.

The remaining three—a GMC Yukon Denali and two Lincoln Navigators—were reportedly in service centers for repair.
According to the BOC, its personnel and the Philippine Coast Guard are now guarding the vehicles 24/7.
They are also reviewing the importation records. If irregularities are found, they will collect the proper taxes and punish anyone caught hiding the vehicles.
In the Senate, Sarah Discaya admitted they own 28 luxury cars, not 40 as earlier reported. She also confirmed that they have nine construction companies, including several DPWH contractors.
Their companies were accused of alleged corruption in flood control projects worth P100 billion in the past three years.
But Sarah denied any wrongdoing, insisting they have long earned profits as contractors.
They became the center of controversy after interviews showcased their rags-to-riches story and displays of luxury living.

Sarah Discaya is a Filipina businesswoman, philanthropist, and political figure who serves as the Chief Financial Officer of St. Gerrard Construction and Development Corporation. Known for her charitable work such as medical missions and welfare programs, she gained recognition for supporting healthcare, education, solo parents, and senior citizens. In 2025, she ran for mayor of Pasig City with a platform focused on making it a smart city through improved healthcare, digital connectivity, and modern systems, but she lost to incumbent Mayor Vico Sotto. Despite her defeat, she remains noted for her leadership, philanthropy, and advocacy for community empowerment.
In a previous report by KAMI, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) will investigate around 40 luxury cars linked to Sarah Discaya’s family. The move came after a viral interview where Discaya showed their collection of high-end cars. BOC will check the consignee of the vehicles to see if there were violations in their importation Discaya has also been connected to contractors of flood control projects now under Senate investigation.
