Authorities identified the victim as Mayo Junel Santos, an employee of Meralco, who was left bloodied inside his vehicle.

Another witness recorded the aftermath, showing Santos already wounded.

“May dalawang putok na magkasunod tapos 'yung ugong ng sasakyan na humarurot. Mabilis lang,” said witness Carlos Tobese.

Santos was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival. His co-workers shared that he had just come from their Dasmariñas office and was on his way to Ortigas.

Santos had also informed security guards he was set to retire at the end of the month.

A close friend revealed that Santos had only recently been discharged from the hospital and had no known enemies or records of trouble in their barangay.

Police Captain Michelle Bastawang, chief PIO of Cavite PPO, said, “Ito po ay isang insidente po ng road rage po.”

Authorities are conducting follow-up operations and coordinating with the Land Transportation Office to trace the red car used in the crime.
