According to PSMS Paul John Dela Fuente, duty investigator of the Del Pan Police Station, they received a call from the Coast Guard around 11 a.m. about the discovery of a body at the Philippine Ports Authority d0cking area.
He added that the body was already bloated, making it difficult to determine how long it had been floating.

“Medyo lumulobo na siya ng konti… subject for determination kung ilang oras na siyang floating,” he explained.
The victim’s parents positively identified her. Her mother, Beverly Pepito, said she last saw her daughter on Thursday afternoon at a tricycle where the teen often stayed with her boyfriend.
CCTV footage later showed the girl leaving the tricycle early Friday morning and never returning.
Pepito mentioned that a man on a bicycle frequently approached her daughter and gave her money, hoping this lead will reveal the truth. Police continue investigating, considering both possible foul play and a medical condition, as the girl reportedly had epilepsy.
