A 14-year-old boy died after his gun accidentally fired during a robbery in a school in Lantapan, Bukidnon.
Reports said the teenager broke into the school and took a welding machine and a grinder.
The school guard noticed him escaping and chased after him.
When the two struggled, the .38 caliber revolver carried by the boy suddenly went off.

The bullet hit the teenager in the stomach and went through his back.
He was rushed to the hospital but later died.
The family of the victim is determined to file a homicide case against the guard.
However, police clarified that the case is a robbery incident and not a shooting incident.
The school principal also believed there was no foul play involved, pointing out that this was not the first time the boy had stolen from the school.
Authorities are now continuing their investigation while the family pushes for legal action.
