According to Labadlabad, the complaint stems from unpaid commissions and the singer’s acceptance of performance bookings without her knowledge or authorization.

She alleged that for the past two weeks, Elias and his band had been directly collecting payments from clients without remitting any amount to the management.

Labadlabad said her professional relationship with Elias began on April 2, 2025, but tensions arose when Elias’s live-in partner, Abegail Cariquitan, allegedly became jealous of her.

On June 10, Elias reportedly missed a scheduled guesting after Abegail did not allow him to board his flight. He also skipped another event, choosing instead to sleep.

The dispute escalated when Elias, his band members, and their lawyer went to the Regional Trial Court in Kidapawan City to seek the nullity of his management contract.

They filed a complaint for “declaration of nullity of contract and/or cancellation of contract, accounting, damages, and attorney’s fees with prayer for issuance of TRO and/or preliminary injunction” against Labadlabad.

Meanwhile, Elias is scheduled for a U.S. tour next week. However, with the ongoing legal dispute, concerns have been raised about potential complications that could affect the American concert series.
