After the incident, the Manolo Fortich Municipal Station quickly launched a follow-up operation.

They were able to arrest the suspect, who was later confirmed to be an active-duty police officer.

The suspect is now in police custody and will be transferred to the custodial facility of the Bukidnon Police Provincial Office.

A robbery case is now being prepared against him.

When a police officer commits robbery, it becomes a serious crime and a violation of public trust.

The officer can be arrested just like any other suspect.

Once caught, they are placed under custody, investigated, and can face criminal charges such as robbery or armed robbery, depending on the case.

Because they are members of law enforcement, their actions may also lead to internal disciplinary actions like suspension or dismissal from service.

The case is usually handled more strictly because police officers are expected to uphold the law, not break it.
