“We kindly urge everyone to approach this situation with sensitivity and compassion. The loss of young lives and the suffering of those involved have profoundly impacted our community and especially the families affected,” the statement read.

In other news, a father and his son were killed in a collision between their motorcycle and a truck in Tanauan, Leyte.
