A man who went wild in Barangay Balabag, Pavia, Iloilo was shot and killed by a police officer during a confrontation.
The incident was caught on video and shown by TV Patrol Weekend of ABS-CBN.
In the footage, two policemen are seen arriving at the area — one riding a motorcycle and the other approaching on foot.
As they arrived, the suspect suddenly ran toward them.

According to the report, the man was holding a knife and chased one of the officers, attempting to stab him.
The situation quickly turned dangerous, forcing the police to act and shoot the suspect to stop the threat.
That's when the policeman was forced to drew out his firearm and shot the chest of the suspect, who was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
Investigations are still ongoing about the incident, particularly as to what caused the suspect to behave so violently.
A policeman in the Philippines is allowed to shoot and kill someone if that person poses an immediate and serious threat to the officer's life or the lives of others.
This is considered an act of self-defense, which is allowed under Philippine law.
According to the Revised Penal Code, anyone — including police officers — has the right to defend themselves when under unlawful aggression.
However, the response must be reasonable and necessary to stop the threat.
Authorities are expected to follow the rules of engagement and use force only as a last resort.
After such incidents, investigations are usually conducted to determine whether the use of deadly force was justified.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
