The suspects quickly fled the scene on a black Bajaj motorcycle. Fortunately, the victim was unharmed during the incident.
According to Captain Eduardo, the victim had been collecting payments in the area for years, making his movements predictable to those who planned the robbery.
The incident occurred in a remote, mountainous part of Toboso.
Eduardo advised lending collectors to avoid going alone into isolated or remote areas to prevent similar incidents. He emphasized the importance of being cautious and seeking police assistance or accompaniment when collecting payments in high-risk locations.
