According to preliminary investigations by local authorities, Anthony was operating his Yamaha Aerox 155 motorcycle and was reportedly on his way home to Purok 2, Barangay San Miguel.

As he navigated the roads in the pre-dawn hours, his motorcycle collided with the rear of a parked Isuzu truck.

The impact of the collision was severe, causing both Anthony and his backrider, identified as Edwin, also 29 years old and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay San Miguel, to be thrown from the motorcycle.

Both individuals sustained various injuries upon hitting the concrete road surface.

Emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene, and both Anthony and Edwin were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.

Despite the diligent efforts of medical personnel, Anthony was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, succumbing to the injuries he sustained in the crash.

Edwin, his backrider, is currently receiving treatment for his injuries, and his condition is being monitored.
