"FAKE NEWS ALERT:

It can be recalled that Torre agreed to have a charity boxing match against acting Davao City Mayor 'Baste' Duterte. Their 12-round boxing match was supposed to take place in Rizal Memorial Coliseum today, Sunday. However, Duterte flew to Singapore and wasn't able to appear during the charity boxing match.
Prior to this, PNP Chief Nicolas Torre III has already started training after he agreed to the boxing match against 'Baste' Duterte. It can be recalled that Torre agreed to it and turned it into a "charity" boxing match, where proceeds will be given to typhoon victims. Torre immediately jumped into a boxing gym and started training, Torre also said that he had coordinated with the management of Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila as a possible venue for his upcoming match with Duterte this Sunday. Torre admitted that at 55 years old, his stamina has slightly declined after taking a long break from boxing.
