According to Renaldo Sagun, a barangay tanod, the authorities were alerted after concerned citizens approached them around 1:00 p.m. to report the disturbing sight.

Barangay officials, along with police personnel, immediately responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found the body of a woman partially submerged in the creek.

“‘Yung katawan nung bangkay hindi naman siya bloated talaga. Hindi pa siya ‘yung babad na babad sa tubig,” Sagun noted, suggesting that the body had not been in the water for long.

As the authorities lifted the body to place it in a cadaver bag, they noticed fresh blood oozing out, indicating recent injuries.

“Nung tinihaya namin siya, doon namin nakita ‘yung tama niya rito sa dibdib dalawa, tapos isa sa tagiliran. Sinaksak. Mayroon siyang butas sa noo, sa right side,” Sagun described, pointing to multiple stab wounds and a puncture wound on the victim’s forehead.

Police are still in the dark regarding the woman’s identity. She is estimated to be around 30 years old.

“Sa ngayon po wala pa kaming lead doon sa bangkay na nakuha kung residente namin o taga ibang lugar,” Sagun added.

Authorities have reached out to nearby barangays for possible identification of the victim.

Meanwhile, the Antipolo Police continue to investigate the incident to determine the circumstances and suspects behind the crime.

News, photos, or videos that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media, due to the attention netizens give them. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, this could also happen to ordinary people, making them very relatable.

In a previous report by KAMI, Josh Mojica, the Owner and CEO at Kangkong Chips Original, has been in hot water recently for his viral video. In a Facebook video he uploaded on July 2, Mojica was seen driving on EDSA inside his sports car. However, he was also holding his phone while recording a quick clip of himself, his car, and the road. The video went viral and has called the attention of the Land Transportation Office, resulting in Mojica's driver's license being suspended for 90 days.

Additionally, the Land Transportation Office issued a show cause order against "Yanna," a motorcycle vlogger. This was after the viral road rage video where she and a pickup driver got into a confrontation while driving on a rough road in Zambales. It can be recalled that Yanna has already issued a public apology through a Facebook video. In relation to this, Senator JV Ejercito noted that although a public apology has been made by the moto-vlogger, she must still face the consequences of her actions.
