According to a report by Brigada News PH, the incident occurred shortly after the victim loudly exclaimed in celebration upon winning a game of Scatter, a popular local card game.
The joyous outburst reportedly triggered an altercation between the victim and his 60-year-old stepfather.
The heated argument quickly escalated into violence, with the suspect allegedly pulling out a bladed weapon and stabbing the victim.

Witnesses claimed that the confrontation happened so fast that family members had little time to intervene.
The victim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in an attempt to save his life.
Unfortunately, he was declared dead on arrival due to the severity of his injuries.
Authorities from the Maramag Police Station swiftly responded to the scene and arrested the suspect without incident. He is now in police custody and faces charges in connection with the fatal stabbing.
Investigators are looking into the deeper cause of the altercation, including whether there were long-standing issues between the two men that may have contributed to the tragedy.
The community remains in shock over the sudden and violent incident, which has cast a shadow over what started as a simple moment of personal celebration.
