A fire broke out inside an auto shop in Marikina City early this morning.
In a report by EJ Gomez in 'Balitanghali' of GMA 7, the blaze started shortly after 1 a.m.
The incident took place along Fifth Street in Barangay Sto. Niño, Marikina City.
Captured on camera, flames were seen spreading quickly throughout the area, prompting authorities to raise the first alarm immediately.

In an interview with the auto shop's secretary, Angelita Masayon, said that she heard explosions and smelled burnt plastic.
When she peeked from the window, she confirmed that there was a fire, so she immediately woke the other workers up.
She added that they tried to stop the fire using a fire extinguisher, but the wind was bl0wing strongly at that time, which is why they failed.
The fire severely damaged the auto parts and accessories on the 2nd floor of the establishment. Included were the car accessories on the first floor.
According to the owner of the auto shop, the fire damaged 10 million pesos worth of local and imported car parts and accessories.
A total of 16 firetrucks from BFP and fire volunteers joined forces to put the fire out.

Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
