The collision triggered a chain reaction, resulting in three more riders crashing as they followed closely behind.

The riders slid across the pavement and suffered physical injuries though none were reported to be in critical condition.

Fortunately, no larger vehicle was trailing them at the time of the accident, which may have helped prevent more serious injuries or fatalities.

A barangay official confirmed that all of the riders involved were part of the same group. However, none of them provided any statements following the incident.

Authorities are reminding motorists, especially groups riding together, to maintain proper distance between vehicles and ride with caution to avoid such accidents.

The incident serves as a reminder of the risks that come with riding in close formation and the importance of safe riding practices, especially on public roads where unexpected situations can happen at any moment.
