According to Atty. Greg Pua Jr., executive director of the Land Transportation Office (LTO), a show cause order has been issued to the driver, requiring him to attend a hearing on June 25 at 10 a.m.
“Ating aalamin kung bakit ginawa 'yun ng nakahubad at bakit pinayagan nitong driver na napakahaba ng biyahe nila, hindi man lang inaksyunan,” Pua said in an interview with DZMM. “
This reflects what kind of driver he is. He saw that something obscene and illegal was happening on his tricycle, but he let it be. He cannot say he didn’t see it because the boy was right next to him.”

Pua added that the LTO may revoke the driver's license if he is proven unfit to operate a public utility vehicle.
A viral video on social media showed a boy without underwear dancing while hanging onto a moving tricycle along Sumulong Highway in Antipolo, Rizal.
Police later located both the tricycle driver and the boy, who turned out to be only 16 years old.
According to PLtCol. Mark Henry Garcia, officer-in-charge of the Antipolo police, the teen said he did it for fun.
“Makikita dito kung anong klaseng driver siya. Nakikita niya na may kalaswaan, ilegal, may unlawful act na ginagawa doon sa kanyang minamanehong tricycle pero hinayaan lang niya. Hindi niya pwedeng sabihin na hindi niya ito nakikita dahil halos katabi siya ng driver,” Garcia added.
The minor is now under the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, while police investigate whether the driver allowed or tolerated the act.
