Based on the investigations, as reported by GMA 7's '24 Oras Weekend,' during an ongoing construction inside the warehouse, the workers accidentally hit a pipeline connected to crude oil, which resulted the explosion.
According to one of the workers, they were digging a hole for a post when they hit the pipeline.
