In an interview, Atty. Danilo Almendras, the city administrator, confirmed that one of the riders involved is indeed a city employee. The video of the incident has since spread across social media.

Almendras stated, “The rider who had an altercation with our employee already came to my office Wednesday morning.”

He added that the rider was advised to file a formal complaint. Almendras is currently waiting for the official explanation from their staff member.

Balitang Bisdak is still trying to get a statement from the rider who clashed with the city hall employee.

However, in a social media post, the rider claimed that someone had rear-ended his motorcycle, damaging his plate number and signal light.

When he tried to confront the person, who was in a city hall uniform, the latter allegedly fled. He gave chase, and the confrontation ensued.

As of now, the city hall employee has yet to comment.
