The victim sought the assistance of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), which swiftly launched an operation.

With help from the TNVS platform, the suspect was identified and arrested.

The victim was able to positively identify him during the investigation.

He admitted that he was "tempted" and gave in to his urges during the stop.

The case has sparked outrage and raised concerns over rider safety, especially for women using ride-hailing apps.

Authorities are urging TNVS companies to implement stricter screening and monitoring protocols for their drivers to ensure passenger safety at all times.
