According to the report, the issue started when the singer of the band refused to go to the table where the two LTO officials were seated.

The victims have already filed a blotter report and they've decided to pursue filing charges against their offenders.

In the Philippines, if an adult government official physically assaults a minor, it can lead to serious legal consequences.

The act may be classified as ch!ld abuse under Republic Act No. 7610, also known as the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.

This law provides stronger penalties for offenses committed against minors, especially when the perpetrator is a person in authority, such as a government official.

In addition to administrative sanctions like suspension or dismissal from service, the official may face criminal charges that can result in imprisonment and fines.

The involvement of a public official also adds weight to the case, as it can be considered an abuse of power or authority, and the government may take further disciplinary actions to uphold public trust and accountability.
