GV Florida claimed that the viral video was on a “fast-forward” mode.
“Technically literate interpreters label the video accordingly uploaded by certain Carlo Carbonel, which has gone viral, allegedly ragarding six G.V Florida Bus units travelling northbound and were at the vicinity of Maharlika highwah, Cordon, Isabela in “fast-paced”, “fast-forward” or “speed-up” mode. In simple term, it made the bus units appear running much faster than their real speed. Unfortunately, many had viewed the video as real as it is,” GV Florida explained.
“They were not racing against each other. Circumstances as such is not allowed, tolerated or condoned by the respondent PUB operator. Travelling at nighttime, however, provides so many benefits and/or advantages as drivers do it akin to a convoy."
“It is a deterrent to a highway-robbery and stoning incidents,” the bus company added.

In a previous report by KAMI, the LTFRB has issued a 30-day preventive suspension on 15 GV Florida Transport buses after a video surfaced showing six of its units allegedly racing recklessly on a national highway in Cagayan on June 8. Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon rejected GV Florida Transport's apology, stating the company treated their buses like "sports cars" and directing the LTFRB to seek maximum penalties against the operator. Drivers involved in the incident will be effectively jobless for 90 days, with a stern warning issued against operating during suspension. All company drivers must also undergo mandatory drug tests. The Department of Transportation is encouraging the public to report similar incidents by tagging DOTr, LTFRB, or LTO on social media, assuring immediate action on such reports.
In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but, being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
