“Yun pong isa talagang patay na nung dumating kami. 'Yung babae dito sa panga, parang butas po 'yung dito. 'Yung isa naman dito sa dibdib.”
He added that the 30-year-old female driver and another companion managed to flee after the shooting.
Witnesses reported seeing two cars and a motorcycle tailing the tricycle before the attack.
“Ayon po roon sa mga nakakita… mayroong dalawang kotse na mabilis tumatakbo at isang backup na single,” Enriquez noted, suggesting the victims were followed from the BJMP.
The injured victims were rushed to nearby hospitals.
The tricycle driver, a resident of the area, has since been discharged, while the other woman—shot in the jaw—was transferred to another medical facility for further treatment.
Police operations are underway to identify and arrest the suspects, who will face charges of murder and two counts of frustrated murder.
Authorities are also working to determine the motive behind the shooting.
