A multiple-vehicle collision involving three Ceres buses and one private vehicle occurred in San Enrique, Negros Occidental, on the afternoon of Saturday, June 7.

The incident took place along the highway in Purok Acacia, Barangay Tabao Rizal.
According to reports from the San Enrique Police Station, the vehicles involved were a red private car and Ceres buses with bus numbers 5298, 5574, and 5295.
All four vehicles were reportedly traveling from Barangay Poblacion when the accident happened.

Initial police investigation revealed that the driver of Ceres bus 5295 allegedly lost control of the vehicle.
This led to a chain-reaction crash involving the private car and the two other buses.
The impact of the collision resulted in physical injuries to several passengers, although authorities confirmed that the victims received immediate medical attention.
Photos and eyewitness accounts from the scene described significant damage to the front portions of the buses and the private car.
The local police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash and to assess whether charges should be filed.
The incident caused temporary traffic congestion along the affected portion of the highway, but the road has since been cleared and reopened to motorists.
Authorities are reminding drivers to exercise extra caution, especially on highways with frequent bus traffic.
Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. The San Enrique Police are coordinating with Vallacar Transit Inc., the operator of the Ceres buses, as part of the ongoing investigation.
